On behalf of NorthAvenue Financial Advocates, we’re honored to share that our founder and CEO, Kristen Moosmiller, was recognized as the Matching Donor at The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio’s Annual Keyholder event.
As many of you know, Kristen has been involved with and supported The Women’s Fund for years. Their mission to transform the lives of women and girls aligns with NorthAvenue’s purpose to offer holistic, comprehensive service while also creating new opportunities for women in wealth management.
Now, what you may not know is that becoming a Keyholder Matching Donor has been one of Kristen’s personal and professional goals since before she opened NorthAvenue. Kristen recently spoke with The Women’s Fund CEO Kelley Griesmer about how her personal values have influenced her work.
“Being aware of my privilege from a young age, I saw money as a tool to work against injustices in the world, and charitable giving had to be a part of my budget from the moment I started my first full time job. Now, NorthAvenue is something I have been able to build and grow and incorporating sponsorships of charities, like The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio, into our budget from day one was simply a given. It feels good to know we are doing something to move the needle for all women in central Ohio.”
We are proud to have been part of such a transformative event and to be joined by nearly 1,000 women and men coming together to support the future of women and girls in our community.
